Jared Leto Involved In Airport Scuffle AT LAX


Actor and 30 Seconds To Mars frontman Jared Leto was questioned by police on Tuesday afternoon after the Dallas Buyer’s Club star was involved in a scuffle at LAX. According to TMZ, a paparazzi was said to be harassing Leto, his brother Shannon, and his friend when the star’s buddy became agitated with the photographer and hit him in the face, E! News reported. The photographer reportedly had a split lip from the incident.

“Police received a phone call reporting a battery in progress, no arrests have been made. “At 16:53 hours we received a call for a battery in progress,” LAX police stated. “Officers responded to Terminal 2 and conducted an investigation. Upon completion, officers determined that no battery took place.”

The 43-year-old Leto was questioned by police officers when he and his friends were about to get into a car to depart LAX. Charges were not filed against either party following the brief airport scuffle. The photographer and Leto’s unknown friend did resolve their differences before shaking hands and going on their way.

Leto, who was traveling home, was seen donning neon green hair for his role as the Joker in the upcoming film, Suicide Squad. The DC Comics pic is currently filming in Toronto, Canada under the direction of David Ayer. The super villain flick is said to be dark and gritty with a therapist on set to help any of the performers with their needs.

The cast includes Will Smith in the role of Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Jai Courtney in the role of Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Karen Fukuhara as Katana, Jay Hernandez as El Diablo, Adam Beach as Slipknot, and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller. Barinholtz, Scott Eastwood, Raymond Olubowale, Alex Meraz, Jim Parrack, and Common are also on board the film in unknown roles.

The film will see Jared Leto and the gang all join forces on dangerous mission being conducted by a secret government agency. The cast recently revealed a slew of photos where they were seen getting matching tattoos #SkwadGoals.

The film is set to hit theaters on August 5, 2016.
