Calvin Harris Proposing To Taylor Swift? Rumors Fly As Harris Reportedly Checks Out $500K Ring
Calvin Harris, the Scottish singer-songwriter who has been dating Taylor Swift for the last four months, seems to like it, so he might be putting a ring on it. If rumors are to be believed, Calvin Harris has his eye on a 10 carat ring from Neil Lane that is worth around $500,000 US. The question appears to center around where Calvin Harris intends on proposing to his lady love. Both Italy and Paris were possibilities, but so is Nashville, according to reports.
It has certainly been a busy few months for the couple. Most recently, Swift was shown in some adorable pictures meeting her godson Leo, actress Jaime King’s son, for the first time, while Calvin Harris has been busy as the face of Armani – at least, the company’s underwear brand. Rumors have been flying around about this new musical power couple, particularly since Taylor Swift has gained some notoriety for writing songs about the breakups she has gone through.
The dynamic duo show no signs of slowing down, however. Swift is apparently going to be meeting Calvin Harris’ mom and dad fairly soon, and he has met her parents in Nashville. Naturally, both Swift and Calvin Harris have been very busy, given Swift is knee deep in her 1989 world tour – though she is just finishing up a week off where she got to meet her new godson – and he has been busy producing in studio, most recently with The Disciples for “How Deep Is Your Love?”
While fan response to the possible engagement of the power couple is only now starting to gain steam, Calvin Harris and his Armani ads are setting hearts pounding, particularly following his Throwback Thursday pic last week (July 23).

For her part, Taylor Swift credits Lady Gaga with engineering the romance between her and Calvin Harris, and has discussed her “magical spell” before. It would definitely appear that Calvin Harris is quite smitten with the “Bad Blood” singer; he has said in past interviews that he is “insanely happy” and that Swift ticks boxes “he didn’t even know existed.” He also acknowledged that there is always a lot of press surrounding them, but that, as busy as they are, it really has not been as difficult as many might think to see each other regularly.
“The luxury is we can both travel very easily. I think that’s a reason that it works so well… It’s really not hard to see each other on a regular basis.”
If Calvin Harris does follow through on the current engagement rumors, Swift will have a significant sparkler on her ring finger. The only question is where the engagement might occur; Calvin Harris has reportedly been trying to narrow down where, exactly, to pop the big question.
