Man Tries to Break Into Cockpit on Delta Flight 86

A plane made an emergency landing at Logan airport shortly after 10pm EST Friday because a man tried to break into the cockpit.

Delta flight 86, en route to Tel Aviv from JFK airport had to be diverted to Logan airport shortly after takeoff because a man tried to break into the cockpit. The 22 year old man was subdued by other passengers before the plane landed and was moved to an isolated area of the runway.

The man was yelling loudly as hee banged on the cockpit door. Unofficial statements say that the incident was not terrorist related.
