Victoria Justice On Ariana Grande Feud: Are The ‘Victorious’ Stars Fighting?

Victoria Justice is addressing her alleged feud with Ariana Grande. The singer and actress admitted that she has no bad blood with her former Victorious co-star, as reconfirmed in a HuffPost Live interview on Thursday, July 9.

For the past few years, there have been rumors that Victoria Justice and Ariana Grande have been feuding since their Nickelodeon days. Some reports claimed that Grande “bullied” Justice on the set of their successful show Victorious. Justice also hinted in a past interview that she would never work with Grande ever again. Ouch.

It looks like both of the singers are on good terms. Victoria Justice said that she’s not in a feud with Ariana Grande at this very moment, during her interview with HuffPost Live host Nancy Redd.

“There’s no feuding going on right. She’s doing her thing, and I wish her the best.”

Victoria feels the same way about the rest of the Victorious cast, whom she feels “really supportive of.”

“I think they’re all doing really cool, great things and I’m super happy for all of them – genuinely.”

Victoria Justice tried hard to address her alleged feud with Ariana Grande back in January. While promoting her MTV series, Eye Candy, Victoria said she that she wants to put an end to the media’s obsession with her alleged feud with Ariana.

“I would love to set the record straight because I feel these rumors have been going on for way too long. So basically, there was an article in Seventeen magazine where [Ariana] had said that she was bullied on set, and the magazine basically alluded to it being me. Once the article came out — actually before it came out — she texted me privately, and she was like, ‘Oh my gosh, I am so sorry. You know how the media twists words. I was not talking about you obviously, I was talking about someone on Broadway I had worked with.’ But once it got out there everyone thought that I was this bully and mean to her, which couldn’t be further from the truth.”

Victoria is hoping that the media will take some advice from Disney’s hit movie, Frozen.

“Hope now she’s talked about it, I’ve talked about it, there is no feud. We can put this behind us now and we can practice what ‘Frozen’ preaches, my friends, and let it go. Let’s let it go!”

The i-Carly star also addressed the feud rumors between the Disney and Nickelodeon stars. She also said that she’s good friends with Jessie star Debby Ryan.

“There’s not really any beef with either one of them. You just kind of go to different events sometimes, and I don’t know, you’re kind of in different circles, I guess, in a way. But I have friends and stuff that were on Disney, too, so it’s all good. I hang with Debby Ryan. I think Debby Ryan’s super cool.”

Victoria Justice and Ariana Grande starred on the Nickelodeon comedy Victorious from 2010 to 2013. After the show ended, Victoria jump-started her pop and acting career. Ariana reportedly blamed the cancellation of the show on Victoria since she reportedly wanted to go on a solo tour.

The “Bang Bang” singer said, “If we had done a cast tour, Nickelodeon would have ordered another season of Victorious while Sam & Cat filmed simultaneously but she chose otherwise. I’m tired of this BS.”

Victoria Justice wrote a passive-aggressive message, which is rumored to be about Ari.

As for Grande, she’s had two successful albums and is currently on her Honeymoon World Tour. Grande is also in the middle of a donut controversy, in which she licked and spit on donuts and said on camera, “I hate America. I hate Americans.”

Ariana is facing a lot of backlash not only for making anti-American comments and “deliberately tampering” with donuts, but also for acting like a “diva” lately. In recent months, she’s received backlash for reportedly asking photographers in Australia to “shoot only from the left side of her face,” for saying she hopes her fans “all f***ing die,” and for demanding to be carried around like a baby at all times.

Most recently, Ariana Grande is getting in trouble for her #Donutgate controversy. Health inspectors are reportedly investigating the video from the donut shop where Grande and her rumored boyfriend, Ricky Alvarez, were seen licking the donuts while employees were away from the counter.
