Charlie Puth is quickly becoming one of the hottest names in the music industry, and has seen much of his music take the world by storm to this point. The breakthrough song for Puth was “See You Again” with Wiz Khalifa, which has been a Billboard chart monster since it first came out. “See You Again” blew up when it was featured in Furious 7, and hasn’t slowed down.

Then came the popular “Marvin Gaye” with Meghan Trainor, followed up by “Nothing But Trouble” with Lil Wayne, which was released by Hot New Hip Hop. Essentially, Puth’s name is popping up all over the place.

Now, DJ Booth has released a new jam from Puth. The latest creation from Puth is actually a remix of the popular “Marvin Gaye,” but doesn’t feature Trainor on it.

Who’s the surprise guest on Puth’s new remix? It’s rapper Wale who makes an appearance. Check out how the remix with Puth and Wale turns out below.

Well, to say the least, if you were a fan of the original, you’re probably a fan of Puth’s remix, as well. Technically, it’s just a major hit with a new feel to it, but regardless, fans of Charlie Puth are going to be loving on this one for quite a while. Would it be strange to add both Puth’s original and his remix to your playlist?

So what’s next for Puth after showing that he can do a little bit of everything with his singing and songwriting abilities? For now, Puth is on the road, opening for Meghan Trainor on her current American MTrain Tour, which began on July 3.

While Puth continues to take the music world by storm, we’ll all be anxiously waiting for the rising star to put out his next single that we can all run on repeat. Is Charlie Puth the next big thing? He seems to be trending in that direction at this point in his young career.
