Slow motion can sometimes be as cool as high speed video

slow-wow

Video of cities and landscapes in high speed have long been a standard fare of cool effects videos, but what if you went in the other direction?

Slow motion you’d think would usually be as interesting as its speed (slow), but take the video in HD and set some cool music to it, and you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

David Coiffier took this SprintCam v3 showreel, made for NAB 2009 exhibition. The video consists mostly of 1000FPS shots, made during a recent rugby competition in the Stade de France, Paris.
