With Chris Pratt hitting an all time high with turns as Owen Grady in Jurassic World this year and Peter Quill in last summer’s Guardians of the Galaxy, why not make him the eponymous hero in another massively popular franchise, Indiana Jones?

Fans recently named Indiana Jones the best movie hero ever, beating out popular and iconic characters like James Bond, Han Solo, and the top female on the list, Ripley. So, it’s just a matter of time before Disney puts another Indiana Jones adventure on the big screens.

Right now, it’s just a well-talked about rumor with absolutely no confirmation that Chris Pratt is even in talks to play the archaeologist. That said, here’s five reasons he should be the next Indiana Jones.

Pratt was plucked out of somewhere pretty close to obscurity to play Peter Quill (aka Star-Lord). Most notable for playing Andy Dwyer on Parks and Recreation and smaller roles in the movies Moneyball and Zero Dark Thirty.

Guardians of the Galaxy was a critical box office winner becoming the top grossing superhero movie of 2014 and Pratt’s charm and humor, in addition to James Gunns direction and the performances of the rest of the cast went a long way to making that happen.
