Warren Sapp Charged With Domestic Violence – Feud With Girlfriend Turns Ugly And Violent

NFL Hall Of Fame inductee Warren Sapp has been formally charged for an alleged feud with his girlfriend that is said to have turned violent. Sapp has been charged with 3 counts of domestic violence, and if that sounds serious, the allegations are even more so. Officials say he bit his girlfriend and later even stomped on her.

According to official documents, Sapp allegedly attacked his longtime girlfriend, Chalyce Moore, on April 28th at the M Resort in Las Vegas. According to the police report filed, the duo were engaged in a bitter verbal battle prior to the attack. While there’s no evidence that Warren Sapp actually threw a margarita in her face in their private cabana by the pool, CCTV footage vaguely shows him grabbing Chalyce by the arm or purse and violently pulling on her. The video footage shows Chalyce almost falling to the ground, but regaining her balance after a struggle.

The couple was then witnessed leaving the resort together, apparently headed towards Chalyce’s condo. The report mentions that the quarrel continued in the vehicle. At one point she got sick of the argument, said Chalyce and asked Sapp to disembark. However, she might not have been cordial about it because, an aggravated Warren Sapp responded by “biting her middle finger”.

Interestingly, Sapp did get out of the car and even asked another motorman for a ride. But the driver mustn’t have recognized the sports celebrity who was once a Buccaneers and Raiders defensive tackle, as he refused to let Sapp sit in his car. So Sapp got back in the car with Chalyce and the duo journeyed on to her condo, where things got uglier.

At the condo, an infuriated Chalyce confessed she threw a belt at Warren Sapp, but missed. What followed is a scene straight out a street brawl. Sapp is accused to throwing his girlfriend to the ground and stomping on her face while wearing sandals.

Despite the seriousness of the alleged crime, Warren Sapp was merely “being investigated”, but he wasn’t charged, reported Larry Brown Sports. However Sapp has been formally charged now following a complaint made by Chalyce.

Warren Sapp is no stranger to women and violence. The pro footballer recently pleaded guilty to assaulting prostitutes at the Super Bowl. The victims had accused Sapp of “tackling” them. Sapp managed to wring out a plea deal, but lost his prestigious analyst job. Are these violent incidents indicative of a pattern?
