Kathy Hilton Would Bring Plenty Of Baggage To ‘Real Housewives’

Kathy Hilton could be bringing the kind of baggage you can’t check when you’re boarding a plane if she joins the cast of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The mother of Paris and Nicky Hilton, Kathy has long been one of those people who has managed to keep her own name out of the headlines. Now that the member of the multi-millionaire family that still owns the famous hotel chain is thinking about coming to broadcast television, that will be a thing of the past.

Kathy Hilton has been rumored to replace Kyle Richards on the show. Both Kyle and Kim, who recently entered rehab, have said that they are fed up with reality television, and if either or both depart the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kathy Hilton could take over the spotlight. It should be pointed out that Kathy Hilton joining the show is far from a done deal. “Kathy’s been approached to join the cast, but is undecided,” a source reports. “She doesn’t know yet if she wants to be part of all the drama.”

It makes sense that Kathy Hilton might not want to add the dreamed up drama that comes with reality television. Kathy Hilton has her own share of drama in her real life considering the hijinks her children have gotten into over the years. We all know about Paris and her drunken escapaes that culminated in a sex tape. Kathy has other children that have gotten themselves in a world of trouble as well.

While Conrad Hilton might be the most unknown to those who don’t follow the tabloids on a daily basis, he’s making a name for himself when it comes to getting into trouble. CBS News reports that he was arrested earlier this week for violating a restraining order obtained by his ex-girlfriend Hunter Daily. This is hardly the only legal trouble the youngest of the clan has gotten himself into. In 2014, he surrendered himself to police after he initially got into a high speed chase with authorities. Conrad also pleaded guilty this March to a 2014 incident where he allegedly assaulted a number of flight attendants on a British Airways flight. For that plea agreement, he was sentenced to 750 hours of community service and three years probation. With all that going on, one has to wonder whether Kathy Hilton might join the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in order to get away from the drama of her regular life.
