It’s hard enough to work the night shift. Every noise and motion can be nerve-wracking. But it’s even creepier if, while you’re at work, you see a ghost down the hall. Just before starting his night shift, Andrew Milburn, 21, was texting his girlfriend at Leeds General Infirmary on Friday night. He took a photo to prove that he was at work, according to Metro.
He then also sent the picture to her. It was a Snapchat image of a corridor on the hospital’s Clarendon Wing. But Milburn claims that he was unaware that a ghostly figure was part of the scenario. And he said the following, according to the Mirror.
“I sent her a picture as I walked to my office. Unbeknown at the time it appears that I captured a ghost figure in the corridors. I have since put this picture on Facebook, it has received thousands of likes and comments and has been shared as far as America. It has also been shared on to paranormal investigator groups, many of which believe the picture is real.”
Milburn stated that the ghostly apparition appears to be entering the room where the switchboard is located, and a children’s ward is nearby. He noted that co-workers have heard footsteps there even when no human is nearby. He stated the following, according to the Mirror.
“I didn’t used to believe in ghosts. I was always a skeptic. There have been a few odd things. Now people are a bit scared, and apprehensive about going to the loo.”
Some people are skeptical about whether the photos are Photoshopped. Others believe that he used an app called Ghost Capture, which allows users to place a pre-existing ghost image into their own photographs. Milburn denies that the photos have been doctored in any way.
Do you believe in ghosts? Have you ever taken a photo of one or had an encounter with one? Do you believe that it truly is an apparition in Milburn’s photo?
There have been many pictures of ghostly visages in the news lately. In another recent news story, an eerie apparition appears behind a proud fisherman. Fisherman Wayne Foulkes reeled in a 16-pound carp at Ponciau Pool in Wrexham, Wales. But an evil-looking, orange-glowing ghostly visage appears to be peering through woods behind him in Foulkes’ celebratory picture. He had been fishing all day when he caught the fish. As he proudly held it up, his friends took the photo at Ponciau Pool in Wrexham, Wales on May 9. Foulkes was surprised to find the orange being peeking out behind him. But the area has a history that could potentially explain any ghostly presence, according to an article in the Inquisitr.
