Farrah Abraham, ‘Teen Mom OG’ Star, Awkwardly Splits With Her Boyfriend Via Social Media
Farrah Abraham has split with her boyfriend, Simon Saran, and she’s done it in the most awkwardly public way possible: via a social media post.

Simon Saran was Farrah’s first serious main squeeze after the death of Derek Underwood, Farrah’s high school sweetheart and the father of her daughter, Sophia, according to Yahoo News. Derek tragically died in a car accident while Farrah was still pregnant with Sophia.
Their relationship was the focus of the final season of Teen Mom OG, and there were early signs that the couple was doomed. During one particularly awkward episode, Farrah tried a little too hard to get Simon to bond with Sophia. According to Us Weekly, Farrah and Simon were on their way to the airport, when Farrah decided that her BF needed to bond with her daughter. So as an MTV producer drove, the three sat in the back of Farrah’s car, Simon not into it at all, and Farrah trying to make conversation.
“Babe, do you feel like I’m pushing you too much to be with Soph?”
Later in the episode, Farrah literally shoved a sleeping Sophia into Simon’s lap, while he was texting. Again, Simon wasn’t into it.
“Babe, why are you forcing this? Let her relax!”
If trying to pressure her man into bonding with her daughter wasn’t awkward enough, Farrah also had little patience for Simon’s reluctance to move forward with their relationship.
“I’m not waiting two years to get engaged to you. That’s for ugly girls, babe.”
Teen Mom OG ended with Simon not taking Farrah’s calls, and Simon didn’t appear in the reunion episode.
Farrah would late blame their troubles not on her coming on too strong, but rather, on Simon just not “getting it.”
“He may not get it completely but he understands more so now. I’m not trying to rush things.”
Not satisfied with just being a star on a cable reality TV series, Farrah Abraham has tried desperately to keep the money rolling in, through various ventures: a couple of strategically “leaked” sex tapes here, a line of adult toys there. In an interview with Cosmopolitan, Farrah said that she does what she does because she’s just so good at it.
“Keep in mind also, that no matter what I’ve been doing, I’ve been doing the best in it that we know of. What I’m saying by that is, if I’m developing novelty toys, I’m winning awards. If I’m writing books, I’m a New York Times bestseller — how do I do it all? I don’t know.”
As of this post, Simon Saran has not publicly commented on his split with Farrah Abraham.
