Chris Soules To Join Witney Carson At East Coast Event, Dating Rumors Continue For ‘DWTS’ Partners

Chris Soules is having a hard time staying away from the spotlight — and Witney Carson. Just three weeks after the Dancing with the Stars season finale, the Bachelor and his dance partner already have plans to travel together to the East Coast for a meet and greet with fans.

So much for a wife, kids, and a simple life on Soules Farm in Iowa.

After Chris’ breakup with Whitney Bischoff at the end of May, there were rumors that Witney Carson was the reason behind the split. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Chris loved the attention he received on DWTS, “especially from his partner Witney.” The pair were seen out on the town frequently during their time on the show, without the Whitney he was engaged to.

In August, Chris and Witney will travel to Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut where they will do a live ballroom dance performance, followed by a meet and greet with fans. The August 18 event takes place at The Shops concourse inside the casino.

According to Mohegan Sun, a limited amount of people who will be allowed to attend the Reality Check event, and taking pictures of Chris and Witney with phones or cameras is not allowed. Instead, Chris will be signing headshots — but don’t expect a sweet note from the Iowa farmer turned pseudo-Hollywood star. The event rules state that fans cannot ask for “signature personalization.”

Soules was eliminated from Dancing with the Stars on May 5, and while he was upset that he didn’t make it to the end, he told US Weekly that he was “excited” to head back to Iowa, work on his relationship with Whitney, and “be out of the spotlight.”

“I’ll be able to get back to normal, and get back to work… we’re in the middle of planting season. The goal is to start building a life in Arlington. I think we’re both looking forward to being out of the spotlight and Arlington’s the best place to do that!”

That excitement about being out of the spotlight didn’t last long. Not only does Chris have plans for the upcoming meet and greet in Connecticut with Witney Carson, he has also been cast for the celebrity edition of Food Network’s Worst Cooks In America reality show set to air this fall.

Do you think Chris Soules ever had intentions of settling down on the farm with a wife, or was the lure of celebrity appearances and more reality TV his ultimate goal?
