Ashton Kutcher Makes Enemies at the ACM Awards

Ashton Kutcher may not have done the best job when he made his appearance at the ACM Awards presenting the female vocalist of the year award. In fact the Two and a Half Men star made a few enemies.

Kutcher presented the female vocalist of the year award. He came out dressed less like a country star and more like a cartoon version of a country star with the huge boots, huge hat and huge belt buckle. He then proceeded to fake tune up a guitar and even sang a bit of George Strait’s hit “I Cross My Heart” . He even brought some ridiculously dressed buddies with him to sing, one of them swigging on a mug of beer.

It may have seemed cute to Kutcher’s fans but to the country faithful it seemed as if he was making fun of county music and its fans.

Miranda Lambert, to whom Kutcher presented the female vocalist of the year award, tweeted,

“Was Ashton Kutcher making fun of country or is it just me?”

Lambert’s husband Blake Shelton, told Access Hollywood he is too busy “to give a crap what Ashton Kutcher does.”

Justin Moore was a lot simpler in his criticism of Kutcher calling him “a douche.”

Moore also said,

“I don’t care for people making a mockery of the way country artists’ dress,”

Kutcher immediately took to Twitter after the show saying,

“I Am One Of The biggest country Music fans you’ve ever met. Wasn’t making fun at all.”

What do you think? Do you think Ashton Kutcher really was honoring Country Music or is he just “a douche”?
