Joe Jonas Forgives Taylor Swift Over That Breakup Song, Finds Gigi Hadid Dating Rumors Funny

Everything seems to be okay with famous exes Taylor Swift and Joe Jonas. In fact, the two are good friends. In a recent interview, Joe revealed that everything is “cool” between him and Taylor Swift.

Joe Jonas, 25, and Taylor Swift, 25, briefly dated in 2008. But that doesn’t mean Swift wasn’t upset over her split with Jonas. The JoBro ended up in one of Swift’s songs, “Forever and Always.” Now it seems like Jonas doesn’t mind being in one of her infamous breakup songs.

If you’ve forgotten, here’s how the lyrics go.

“And I stare at the phone,
He still hasn’t called
And then you feel so low you can’t feel nothing at all
And you flashback to when he said forever and always”

During his interview with Access Hollywood, Joe had nothing but good things to say about Taylor. He also added that writing songs about your exes is “part of being a musician.” It sounds like Joe understands Taylor’s need to write her heart out in her music.

“She’s great. We’re friends. I think in this industry, you meet a lot of people and you stay in touch. Obviously, it’s tough to be friends with people that are always constantly travelling, but yeah, we’re cool.”

Taylor Swift is currently dating Calvin Harris while Joe Jonas has revealed that he’s single. He’s been rumored to be dating model Gigi Hadid, who just broke up with Australian singer Cody Simpson. Hadid and Swift are also good friends; the model even appeared in Swift’s “Bad Blood” music video. Both Hadid and Jonas have previously denied the dating rumors.

In fact, Gigi, Joe, Taylor, and Calvin partied in Las Vegas last weekend after the 2015 Billboard Music Awards. Judging by these pics, it looks like they had a little too much fun.

When host Billy Bush asked Jonas about dating Gigi Hadid, the entertainer kept his cool.

He responded, “I’m a single man,” but that didn’t stop Bush from insisting that he’s “young and in love.”

“You’re putting words in my mouth, huh?… Do you want me to jump up and down on the couch?”

Joe was obviously referring to the time Tom Cruise jumped on Oprah’s couch when he first declared his love for Katie Holmes back in 2004. He apparently finds the romance rumors about him and Gigi funny, so he had to crack a joke of his own. That’s one way to get back at the media for spreading those rumors.
