Bruce Jenner: Kim Kardashian Says Mom Kris ‘Cries All The Time’

Bruce Jenner is having a moment.

After his revealing interview with Diane Sawyer–in which he revealed that he has always felt he’s a woman on the inside–LGBT groups, celebrities, and his own family have praised him openly for being brave enough to be himself and for potentially changing lives with his own honesty.

However, that doesn’t mean that the news has been completely easy for the family to digest. Kim Kardashian has said that they attend therapy sessions together, and although she has–according to Bruce–been the most accepting of his transition, she says in a recently-released clip that it’s still an emotional time for them all. She also tells her sisters that it’s a time for them to be very supportive of their mom, Kris Jenner, who is having a hard time.

“I was thinking, ‘Mom this is really hard for her.’ It’s so sad. She cries all the time and it makes me really sad. We should really appreciate all the things she does for us, because she does a lot,” Kim says in the clip.

While Kris Jenner hasn’t been as vocal about Bruce’s transition as her kids have, Bruce said in a promo for Keeping Up With The Kardashians that she has been extremely supportive of his decision and that he still loves her.

“You know, Kris is a really good woman, and I love her to death. And the love and acceptance I have gotten from Kris is absolutely overwhelming.”

Despite their reported amiable split, Kris did reportedly just sign a multi-million dollar deal with E! for the family’s reality shows that excludes him.

According to a source at Fox News, Bruce has been very open with his children about his decision to transition but was careful to prepare them for the media’s reaction and allegedly gave them a scripted response to give when asked about him.

“He told the kids that if anybody asks, they are just to respond, ‘Bruce is in a very good and happy place,'” the source said.

While it’s not clear yet when or if Bruce will change his name, he has reportedly started referring to himself as “her,” which Khloe Kardashian picked up on and decided to buy him gifts. After admitting she doesn’t know “her” taste yet, Bruce said he doesn’t either.

“I don’t know her taste either. But do you know how nice this is? Without even opening them, do you know how nice this is and how much I appreciate this?” Bruce Jenner said.
