Sofia Vergara Has No Plans On Having Children With Joe Manganiello Just Yet

Sofia Vergara may be facing an embryo debate with ex-fiancé Nick Loeb, but don’t expect her to have children anytime soon. The Modern Family star recently revealed that it’s “not a priority” for the hot couple at the moment.

Vergara, 42, graces the cover of Cosmo for Latinas Summer 2015 issue. She recently opened up about her relationship with the hunky Joe Manganiello. Vergara seems very content with their relationship. She’s so content that she doesn’t plan to add to their family. That doesn’t entirely mean that they’re opposed to the idea though.

“When you’re with someone that hasn’t had kids, and you want to start a relationship, of course there’s always that question. And if it happens, it will be something that will make us very happy, but it’s not a priority in our lives.”

The actress is obviously proud of raising her 23-year-old son, Manolo. She spoke highly about him in the interview.

“I think it’s so hard to raise kids nowadays and he has grown up to be so respectful and responsible.”

Vergara also received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, as previously reported on the Inquisitr. She received it for her role on Modern Family. She posed for her new star with her fiancé and her TV cast members. Vergara is also in a brutal public battle with Nick Loeb over the frozen embryos they created before their bitter breakup last year.

Nick has publicly said that he wants to implant the embryos to an eligible surrogate so he could become a father. Sofia revealed to Good Morning America that they signed an agreement stating that both parties must consent to the implantation.

“I really want to make this the last time I talk about it because I don’t think it’s fair. I don’t want to allow this person to take more advantage of my career and try to promote himself… This shouldn’t be out there for people to give their opinion when there’s nothing to talk about. There’s papers signed.”

Sofia and Joe recently got engaged after just five months of dating. The couple has already set a wedding date, but that doesn’t mean they plan to share it with the rest of the world. Sofia coyly told Ryan Seacrest that choosing a date was difficult since the actors are always busy working on their hit movies and TV shows. She also revealed that her marriage to Joe would be a private gathering and not a huge, lavish affair.

Sofia Vergara is currently promoting her new movie, Hot Pursuit, with costar Reese Witherspoon, which she also spoke highly about to Cosmo. Witherspoon also praised Vergara for her comedic timing.

“Her sense of humor is completely based on making fun of her sexy Latin image and people love her for that. It’s one thing to be as beautiful as she is, it is another to know how to make everyone fall in love with you. And you do fall in love with her. She is just so warm and charming. It is her nature to make you immediately want to be her best friend.”

Even though Reese and Sofia have become best friends, it doesn’t mean Reese will be in Sofia’s bridal party. She told the magazine, “In Latin America we don’t have bridesmaids, we only have flower girls.”

The summer 2015 issue of Cosmo for Latinas hits newsstands on May 19, while Hot Pursuit arrives in theaters across the country.
