Captain America A Virgin? Say It Ain’t So! Star Chris Evans Explains
Is Captain America a virgin? According to star Chris Evans, he is! The actor, who has played Captain America since 2011, had a good laugh at Captain America’s expense.
Evans was speaking with Entertainment Weekly about Captain America’s, AKA Steve Rogers’, love life when he jokingly figured out that the superhero is probably a virgin due to his inexperience with women.
The actor spoke about how excited he was for Captain America to finally “be in a relationship with a woman” in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War, which hits theaters in 2016. “It’s funny when you think about it—he’s probably a virgin. He’s probably a virgin! I don’t know when it would’ve happened.”
Then, the actor cooked up a scenario of when Steve Rogers could have lost his virginity. “Maybe one of those dancing girls blew his mind. He’s probably just a good guy. He was probably holding out for Peggy Carter and he’s a little more old-fashioned in that sense.”
He continued, “These are a lot of things that I think are giant conflicts, but they’re also very personal conflicts.”

Currently, Chris Evans is promoting the sequel Avengers: Age Of Ultron, which hits theaters on Friday. While he’s been promoting the film non-stop with his co-stars, this is nothing compared to the work he has set out for himself.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Avengers: Infinity War films part 1 and part 2 will take nine months to shoot since production is shooting them back to back. Evans told Esquire that shooting will take place in “fall or winter of 2016.”
“You know, you plan around the Marvel responsibilities. You have to. We start [Captain America: Civil War] in a couple weeks, and then that shoots until August, or something like that. August or September. Then I’ve got some downtime, and I can do with it as I please.”
He continued to map out his busy Marvel schedule. “Then, we start the Infinity War, I think, some time in the third quarter. Fall or winter of 2016. That’s going to be like nine months to shoot both movies back to back.”
