Divorce Details: ‘Teen Mom 2’ Leah Messer’s Husband, Jeremy Calvert, Filed In November, 2014
Divorce details about the allegedly failing marriage of Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer and Jeremy Calvert have been revealed.
For the past several months since Calvert claimed Messer cheated, fans have been wanting to know all the divorce details surrounding the pair. However, instead of releasing a statement about the news, or posting information online, Messer and Calvert have remained completely silent in regard to divorce details, and have instead given fans reason to believe they were still together.
Most recently, Messer took to Twitter, where she proclaimed she and Calvert were still married.
“I’m pretty sure I told everyone we did not split up.. Maybe some people will believe me.”
Days prior, Messer shared photos of her and Calvert’s New Year’s festivities, which included plenty of kissing. Still, whatever front it was that Messer was putting on, her comments don’t outweigh the truth, and according to a new report, the truth is Calvert filed for divorce last year.
On April 16, Radar Online revealed the Teen Mom 2 couple’s divorce details, claiming Calvert filed for divorce on November 17, 2014. A Roane County court clerk confirmed the news, explaining the divorce was still pending, and the papers were never withdrawn.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Messer was reportedly not served with divorce papers until April 14, which makes the divorce details a bit unclear. One would think Messer would have been served fairly quickly, considering she’s not hard to find.
After Messer was served, more divorce details hit the web, via In Touch Weekly, which claimed the reality star was struggling with addiction.
“She’s confessed to Jeremy that she has a problem, and knows she has no other choice than to go to rehab immediately.”
With three children in her care, her alleged drug addiction would certainly spell trouble for her current custody situation with her ex-husband, Corey Simms (with whom she has two children, five-year-old twins, Ali and Aleeah), as well as her soon-to-be second ex-husband, Calvert (father of her two-year-old daughter, Adalynn).
“MTV would foot the bill and force Leah into rehab because the network loves her. They last thing they want to see is her going down the same dark path that [co-stars] Amber Portwood and Jenelle Evans did.”
Messer and Calvert will return to MTV in Teen Mom 2 season six, which will likely premiere later this year. No word yet on whether or not the couple’s divorce details will be included on the show.
