Teen Girl Street Fight Turns Into Car Fight In Michigan [Shocking Video]
A fistfight in the middle of the street between two 19-year-old women almost turned deadly when one of them allegedly ran over the other with her car.
The extremely disturbing hit-and-run incident in Grand Rapids, Michigan, was captured on cell phone video (see the NSFW footage below). Although some bystanders tried to break up the scuffle between the two teenagers, one onlooker can be heard on the video repeatedly shouting “let ’em fight.”
Authorities issued a warrant for Jalin Smith-Walker, according to the Grand Rapids Press. The charge in the Monday encounter is assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder. Smith-Walker subsequently surrendered to police and was arraigned yesterday in Grand Rapids District Court.
The lucky-to-be-alive victim was treated for a leg injury at a local hospital and released. She was left with tire tracks on her body, however, after being allegedly run over by her rival.
“I really wasn’t thinking that she’s going to run me over,” a shocked Sierra Washington told television station WOOD. “But she just ran me over and I actually thought I was dead.”
The brutal street fight between the two teens apparently had its source in a social media posting about family members.
“She was calling my baby ugly — basically Facebook beef back and forth,” Washington explained. “I understand the fight. The fight is one thing. I’m perfectly fine with the fight. I don’t regret anything. But as far as running me over, you know, justice should be served.”
The video also appears to depict the victim tossing an object on the car’s hood or windshield as the neighborhood crowd shrieks in horror at what happens next when the car runs over her.
Late last year, the same suspect was charged in another vehicular incident when she allegedly car-dragged a mall cop who was pursuing her on suspicion of shoplifting, Michigan Live reported.
“Police said Smith-Walker was driving a vehicle when her alleged co-conspirator, Minnie Andrea Jackson, 20, jumped into driver’s side back seat. Jackson allegedly shut her door on the guard’s left arm as he tried to intervene, then he was dragged several feet. The guard had minor injuries and Smith-Walker and Jackson were charged with unarmed robbery for the Dec. 30 incident.”
