It is no secret that Tim Tebow is a humanitarian. But this time his good heart is really showing for the whole world to see. 10 year old Presli Collins got a call at the hospital that she would be going on her first date with Denver Broncos Quarterback Tim Tebow she was able to enjoy one night of her life.
Presli told HLNTV.
“It made me feel very excited,”
Presli suffers from neurofibromatosis, which forms tumors in the brain, spinal cord and under the skin and has undergone numerous surgeries that make getting sacked by the New york Giants seem like child’s play.
When Tebow heard about the level of suffering that Presli was going through he officially called her and invited her to go with him to Cartoon Network’s Hall of Game Awards.
The dream date was arranged through the football star’s W15H Program which “exists to bring faith, hope and love to those needing a brighter day in their darkest hour of need,” according to the website.
Tebow took her to the awards show and they spent their time meeting celebrities and eating chocolate from a fountain.
He “treated Presli like a princess, made her feel like she was the star, which was just amazing,”
Tebow gave Presli an autographed football and told the amazing 10 year old,
“Thank you for being an amazing date,”
Time Tebow is widely known for his evangelical Christian faith and it is obvious that this is an extension of that.
What do you think of Tim Tebow‘s amazing gesture?

I think it's amazing that even a "superstar" like Mr. Tebow looks beyond his celebritism and does things like this! People also have to remember he had a similar start to his life….and look where he is now.
what an angel he is, may god bless mr.tebow.

now I am not the biggest fan of tim tebow as a football player. but as a human being it is hard to compare to that. it shows his true love for his fellow human beings.

I will never have him on my fantasy football team, but if I had to pick someone to look up to or to even hangout with, it would be Tim Tebow. Awesome guy!
He's so kind! God will bless this man over and over
He is truly an example of what a superstar athlete character should be, than those getting into trouble and doing criminal things. He is an inspiration.
I think it is wonderful, if everyone would take a little time off of their busy lives and do something like this the whole world would be a better place, way to go TIBOW you are a great example to all the youth that looks up to you and all the other athletes should follow your lead instead of getting into trouble.

awwww
Whatever you feel about Tim Tebow as a football player, you cannot deny he is one awesome Human Being. This little girl will forever remember this moment. And it was such a small gesture with HUGE meaning to a child.
I am liberal, atheist, and don't watch football but even I like Tim Tebow. Maybe he could give a speech on tv and try to convince people to get along better and stop fighting over every little issue. It couldn't hurt any.
I love this man he is amazing!!!!!!
I Think AMERICA needs more christians to ACT on behalf of our brothers and sisters..instead of sitting back and watching it..I think Tim is the cat's mewo and a chosen one who is not ASHAMED to be counted..amen Timothy.
Great Man, Excellent representative of American Humanitarian Values and Christianity. Way TO Go Tebow.
Awesome..
And no one has a problem calling this a "date" 10 years old. Come 'on man.
He's a hero in my book – anyone who takes the time to help a suffering child is a hero. To all those who criticize him, I will echo a saying from Jerry Lewis when he was criticized for his work with Muscular Dystrophy: "For those who believe no explanation is necessary, for those who do not believe, not explanation is possible." I believe Tim is the real deal.
No – we don't have a problem, because we know it for what it is. IF this little girl dies from her disease at least she will have the thrill of being with a sports hero – and of being treated special for all the pain she's gone thru. Not to worry.
What he did was lovely, and he may very well be a wonderful person. The only issue I have here is the last line of the article. Certainly Tebow must believe his religion tells him to be kind, but toseem to imply that kindness and extending of one's humanity to others is a unique hallmark of Christianity is misleading, I mean it isn't as if there aren't plenty of atheists and practitioners of other faiths who do incredibly kind, generous, loving and self sacrificing acts all the time. %or the author of this article I would say, Tebow may be inspired to be kind because of his faith, but who's to say he wouldn't be kind even if he didn't believe?
Something that would really bring this story home is a picture of Tim and the little girl at the awards show. Awesome gesture Tim! Keep them coming!
