Elle Macpherson Baby: 51-Year-Old Australian Model Finds Surrogate, Plans For Baby [Report]

Is Elle Macpherson planning to have a baby? The 51-year-old Australian model and her husband, Jeffrey Soffer, 45, are thinking about having a baby together, and have reportedly found a surrogate to carry their offspring. According to Mail Online, Macpherson — who has two children, Arpad Flynn Busson Aurelius, 17, and Cy Andrea Busson, 12 — has been trying to get pregnant for the last year or so, but has been forced to look into other options.

“They realized after a few months that having a baby naturally was a lost cause and they barely discussed adoption – they agreed on surrogacy quite quickly. Elle is thanking her lucky stars she had the foresight to freeze her eggs years ago. She figured they’d come in handy,” shared a source. Evidently, she knew that this was something she might want in the future.

Elle Macpherson has wanted a baby since marrying Soffer in 2013. According to Yahoo! Lifestyle, if all goes as planned, Elle and Jeffrey could have a child of their own by early 2016. Macpherson loves children, and is very happy that she has been blessed with her own, but there is something about having a child with someone you love, and if that is what she and Jeffrey want, that is what they should try for.

And while Elle might be 51, age really is just a number to her. She has worked hard to keep herself in shape, and she would likely have plenty of energy to keep up with a baby. Naturally, her health is most important, but she also has a great spirit.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Elle feels like she was “reborn” at age 50.

“In my 40s, I started to focus on health and wellness. I stopped drinking ‘alcohol] and taking any drugs — even aspirin — and I began really cleaning out my system. By the time I hit 50, I didn’t feel any sort of plateau physically, and it didn’t feel like a shock emotionally either. It wasn’t like, ‘Oh my gosh, I’d better get myself together before I turn 50.’ It was more like I was reborn,” she said.
