Marvel’s ‘Daredevil’ Official Series Trailer Gets 1M Views On Netflix YouTube Channel In 11 Hours [Video]


Marvel’s got a hit on their hands, at least if this Marvel’s Daredevil – Official Trailer – Netflix [HD] video on YouTube is any indication of viewer interest. Having reportedly received 925,980 views in the 11 hours since the trailer video for the original series was uploaded to the Netflix YouTube channel, Daredevil looks like one highly anticipated Netflix Original series.

“It’s time to let the devil out. Marvel’s Daredevil is here to clean up the streets of Hell’s Kitchen, New York. Lawyer by day, street-level hero by night, Matt Murdock is on a mission to make his city a better place against an underground terror within the city. All episodes arrive only on Netflix, April 10.”

The new Daredevil trailer is correctly called gritty by Rolling Stone, and indeed, with the popular Netflix series declaring that Daredevil’s purpose of the Kingpin cleaning up one of the most infamous places in New York — Hell’s Kitchen — he’s got quite a task on his hands, and he doesn’t use innocent means to accomplish that mission.

“I used to dream what it would be like far away from Hell’s Kitchen. But the city… it’s in my blood. And I would do anything to make it a better place.”

The Daredevil show is meant to reflect a darker side of Marvel Comics, and the comments section on YouTube beneath the much-watched video is replete with folks saying how they can barely wait for all 13 episodes to be released in one month from the day that the March 10 YouTube series trailer was released on Netflix. As such, Daredevil fans are trading links to find places to watch the whole series online at pirated websites, hoping they won’t have to wait one month to see the new series.

The short trailer video for Daredevil is so popular as of this writing, YouTube lists it as their most popularly watched video out of 200 videos on their list of highly-buzzed about videos. It isn’t the first Daredevil trailer, but the latest one released is being praised for its martial arts action. As reported by the Inquisitr, Daredevil premieres on Friday, April 10, as was announced by Marvel and Netflix previous through an innovative “motion poster” on YouTube.

Charlie Cox will take on the main character’s role of the Daredevil, and Vincent D’Onofrio will play Fisk. Marvel fans are weighing in galore about their excitement for the new Netflix series, or their dismay about not being able to watch Netflix series if they live in certain countries.
