Taylor Momsen Strips Down For FHM Magazine, Talks Shoes, Boys And Fronting A Rock Band

Rocker Taylor Momsen graces the cover of FHM Magazine’s March edition which hits newsstands in the United States and the United Kingdom in the next month and ahead of that issue we have some of the details about the 18-year-old and her love of stripper shoes, laid back guys and fronting a rock band.

Talking to the magazine about her trademark look Taylor says it’s all about the stripper heels:

“I love stripper shoes and I always try to find the tallest ones. I’m always surprised no one talks about my shoes. I’m, like, on stage in 15-inch heels but people talk more about my eye make-up, which has stayed the same forever. I always think that’s funny. I’m 5’8?. So I’m really tall.”

Momsen also talks about the type of guys she likes to date. She says the trick is to not overdress and to “not try too hard.”‘

In her normal lady like way she says of her dream guy:

“Be yourself and if people don’t like you, then they can suck a d*ck. If they don’t like you, then they’re not the type of person you should be around. I don’t like people who pretend to be something to fit into a certain crowd or guys who pay more attention to how they look than you do – that’s not a good thing.”

Taylor Momsen also tells FHM that she loves fronting a rock band, calling the members “my best friends” while noting that they work because “We have the best chemistry.”

It is just me or does modern day industry created rockers talking about just “being yourself” as they form a product around a contrived image with a standard sound seem a bit laughable?
