‘Pump Rules’ After Show: Kristen Doute Discusses Her Fight With James Kennedy

During the Pump Rules after show, Kristen Doute spoke about her heated confrontation with boyfriend James at Scheana Marie’s wedding.

“I was a little bummed out that James was as drunk as he was, and a little crazy,” Doute told the Last Call host on February 16.

According to Doute, Kennedy had way too much to drink, and began acting “gnarly” and annoying her and her friend, Carmen Dickman.

“It was so bad. I hate talking about this. So, James kind of followed me a lot around the reception. I kind of ran from it. That was my only defense mechanism. It was just like, ‘I’m going to avoid you being drunk because I don’t know what else to do.'”

In addition to ignoring Kennedy, Doute decided to take a walk and get away from it all with a male friend, who she noted as Scheana Marie’s best friend. After she and the man, named Trevor, walked into the parking lot, they were quickly met by Kennedy, who reportedly thought they were hooking up.

At that point, Kennedy was enraged over what was possibly going on between Doute and Trevor, and got into Doute’s face, yelling about how she treats him like a “boy toy.”

Doute claims Kennedy likely has insecurities about their relationship because of the infidelities in her previous relationship with Tom Sandoval. As fans of Pump Rules saw on season two, Doute slept with Sandoval’s close friend, Jax Taylor, during their five-year relationship.

Following their Pump Rules fight, during which Doute dumped Kennedy, she went back to her hotel room with Carmen Dickman, and Kennedy, oddly enough, met up with Sandoval before eventually returning to the hotel.

When asked if she had any regrets about how the night played out, Doute said she did not, and blamed the drama of the evening on Kennedy.

“I don’t think it was my fault that he was that wasted.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Lisa Vanderpump was shocked to discover Doute had gotten physical with Kennedy at Marie’s wedding, and

“I think if I was in a relationship with Kristen, I’d feel insecure, too,” Vanderpump said. “I think you have a reason to be insecure. You don’t have a reason to get drunk and be aggressive, violent, you can handle it better than that.”
