Amber Portwood facing (and fighting) possible eviction, still in jail

Looks like Amber Portwood, who is currently in jail for violating the terms of her probation, is being faced with possible eviction, according to a report by E! Online.

E! Online reports that Portwood’s landlord first served her eviction paperwork last month, and is now gearing up to seal the deal. Amber’s brother, Shawn Portwood, told the site that he had already helped pack up and move all of Portwood’s belongings to storage.

“I brought a trailer in and my mom came over and cleaned everything up. I must have taken three trailer loads of stuff to the storage unit,” Portwood’s brother said. He went on to explain that Amber’s landlord has been seeking to evict her for some time due to her “pending felony”.

Portwood and her family aren’t planning on taking the eviction sitting down, however. Shawn says that just after all of her stuff had been packed, friends of Portwood called her mother, saying that they supposedly dug up some dirt on the landlord. Now, Amber is holding her ground, and her mom plans to sue the landlord if Amber is evicted.

To say that Teen Mom castmember Amber Portwood has had a rough couple of years would be a bit of an understatement. Portwood was jailed late last year for violating the terms of her probation when she carried prescription medication without a documented prescription, and about a year before that she was facing down felony charges for assaulting the father of her child on camera.
