Peaches Geldof Expecting First Baby
Peaches Geldof, the 22 year-old daughter of Irish singer/songwriter Bob Geldof is expecting her first chid with rocker fiancé Thomas Cohen.
Her rep states, “Peaches is utterly thrilled and they have the full support of both of their families who are equally excited for the baby’s arrival.”
Just last month Geldof had announced her engagement to the 20 year-old S.C.U.M. front man. This won’t be the first walk down the aisle. Peaches was previously married to musician Max Drummey. Although the two announced their separation in 2009 it is unknown whether or not the two are officially divorced.
In 2009 Peaches Geldof stated of her relationship with Cohen “We first met four years ago and we bumped into each other last Christmas (2009) on Portobello Road in Notting Hill, London, and started dating again – and that’s also where he asked me. It was romantic. I’m really happy. But we don’t want to get married for a couple of years yet.” Which, was probably a good thing considering a year later Geldof and Cohen split and in 2010 Peaches had a brief relationship with horror director Eli Roth. Geldof and Cohen reunited in 2011.
The usually vocal Peaches hasn’t said anything publicly about her latest announcement, but she did take to twitter to express her holiday bliss. “My new puppy Parper, @tomfromscum bought him for us for xmas. The sweetest pup ive EVER seen. I love Tom so much x”
Although Peaches Geldof has carved quite a name for herself as a host and journalist, she hasn’t had a very charmed life in the limelight. Her partying ways was heavily documented, and her mother, British television presenter and writer, Paula Yates, died at the age of 40 from a heroin overdose in 2000.
