Claudia Jordan defends herself over racist comments

‘RHOA’ Star Claudia Jordan Defends Herself Over ‘Dark-Skinned’ Comment

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Claudia Jordan is learning the pressures of being on a wildly successful reality show and yesterday, reports surfaced that she had made some comments that some people took offense to. Claudia had made some comments in an older video, which surfaced just days after she made comments about fan-favorite NeNe Leakes.

Apparently, Claudia Jordan was just venting her thoughts in her official blog for the show about the argument. But there were some comments that Jordan is now being slammed for. According to the Inquisitr, Jordan is already the “most hated” housewife in Atlanta, even though everyone accepted her with arms wide open, except NeNe Leakes.

According to a new tweet, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Claudia Jordan issued a statement via Twitter this morning, explaining why people should not overreact at her comments.

“OLD and taken way too seriously and outta context,” Claudia Jordan revealed on Twitter this morning after the story about her comments started circulating on the internet. The reports referenced an older video made in 2009.

The drama started when Claudia vented her feelings about the episode and went on Twitter afterwards, saying that she wanted to snack on “Ramen noodles,” clearly referring to NeNe’s hair. Jordan also slammed NeNe, saying all that she talks about is work and money, which is just a facade.

“Sadly I’m not really surprised by NeNe’s ugly demeanor. This is a person that I, along with the rest of the world, have watched transform from the fun underdog to the mean girl, who now seems to go out of her way to be rude. LET ME BE CLEAR: I have never implied that NeNe and I were friends, nor was I ever interested in pursuing a friendship. Quite frankly outside of her hustle, I really don’t see any redeeming qualities about her personality that would make me want to spend time with her,” Claudia Jordan revealed about her co-star.

But those comments is far from everything Jordan has to deal with as the video has now surfaced. Here, she was caught making some jokes about dark-skinned people and comparing her light skin to them.

“I really didn’t think it was a good idea with all these Black people walking around…. cause Black on Black it’s hard to see,” Claudia is caught saying in the video, adding, “I can’t really see who’s who in all Black. I can only see the Beige people like Cecily, Jason, Janlan, (Kinda) Tina, Myself…Everybody else I only see teeth and eyes. So whatever…”

As Claudia explains, the comment was taken out of context, but this is not something she needs as she is already disliked by many fans.
