Bruce Jenner Could Get His Own Reality Show: Why Fans Might Tune In
Bruce Jenner was never the most interesting “character” on Keeping Up With the Kardashians — he seemed to spend most of his time flying model planes and trying to avoid family drama. However, some reality show producers think that his life is exciting enough to warrant its own reality show.
According to TMZ, Bruce Jenner is actually considering a few offers to star in his own reality show. The recently-divorced dad didn’t seem to enjoy having the E! cameras invade his home, but he’s willing to give reality TV another whirl now that Kris Jenner won’t be calling the shots (his ex-wife is the executive producer of Keeping Up With the Kardashians). TMZ revealed that Bruce’s new reality show would be aimed at the bros.
“Sources close to the situation tell us most of the offers involve shooting, ironically, Kardashian-style — following Bruce and his 3 sons while they race cars, travel, and just generally bro out.”
Burt, Brandon, and Brody Jenner have all appeared on a few episodes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. However, Brody is the reality show pro of the Jenner bros — he was one of the main male characters on MTV’s The Hills. Bruce also shares DNA with daughters Kylie and Kendall Jenner, but it seems highly unlikely that momager Kris would let her ex borrow the girls for a competing reality series.
A Bruce Jenner reality show would seem like a pretty boring idea if it wasn’t for the former Olympian’s much-buzzed-about new look. As the Inquisitr recently reported, Bruce was photographed rocking a French manicure earlier this month. He’s also been spotted sporting other feminine looks like red nail polish, long hair, and diamond earrings.
Bruce’s change in appearance has led to speculation that he’s in the process of physically transitioning from male to female (if he really is transgender, this means that he already considers himself female, regardless of the way he looks). Hollywood Life is even claiming that Jenner might have a sex change operation “very soon.” However, a source told the webloid that Bruce Jenner is afraid to go through with the surgery because of how it will affect his family.
“Bruce likes women and would like to be a woman. He just would feel better as a female, but to actually go through it would be shocking. He wants to do it, but is having a hard time pulling the trigger because of the kids. But he isn’t getting any younger so it might be now or never.”
Many of those who closely follow the Kardashian/Jenner clans are curious about Bruce’s new look, so they’d likely tune in to his new reality show to hear what he has to say about it. And if he really is struggling with the decision to undergo a sex change operation, viewers would want to see what Jenner decides to do.
