‘Teen Mom’ Baby: Name and First Photo of Catelynn and Tyler’s Baby
The Teen Mom baby that fans have been waiting for arrived on New Year’s Day. Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra welcomed their baby girl into the world and they couldn’t be more excited. Cate was a little over 38 weeks along in her pregnancy when she went into labor.
Typically, when the cast is signed on for a season of the show, they are unable to discuss certain matters. This would include details of the birth and any photos of the baby. Much to the fans’ surprise, though, Tyler revealed the first photo of their daughter and, shortly after, details of the birth including name and weight of the Teen Mom baby were revealed by MTV.com.
“Momma Bear holding our little angel! Can’t tell you the feeling of witnessing this. Look at my beautiful bride to be! That woman is beyond strong, caring, and selfless. Couldn’t have asked for a better little family #Blessed#NewYearBaby #MyGirls #AreMyWorld.”
There is no doubt that the Teen Mom couple is excited to welcome their little girl into the world. Tyler revealed that Catelynn was in labor early on New Year’s Day. He reminisced about the birth of his first daughter, Carly. He excitedly announced the birth of their daughter on Twitter.
Before chronicling their story on the hit show Teen Mom, the couple appeared on 16 and Pregnant where they made the hard decision to place their daughter up for adoption. The decision, though what they felt was best, was a hard one and one that came with lasting emotions. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Catelynn vehemently denied that Carly would ever feel hurt by comments she made about her second daughter.
As for the name of the new Teen Mom baby, it seems that rumors concerning the baby name were correct. When Cate and Tyler had their baby shower, it was revealed that they would be naming their daughter Nova. Although there was never any confirmation of that, fans knew the name had a ‘v’ in it. On New Year’s Day, however, fans received confirmation of the name.
‘Nova Reign’ is the name that the couple chose for their little girl. It is a very unique and nice name for their daughter. Nova was 19-inches long when she entered the world at 3:15 p.m. and weighed 6 pounds 12 ounces. Since MTV is filming another season of the hit show, there is no doubt that the newest Teen Mom baby will make an appearance, although it is unclear if MTV was there to capture the birth.
Several of their Teen Mom cast mates wished them well on Twitter after learning that Catelynn Lowell had given birth to the newest Teen Mom baby.

Cate and Ty are not the only couple who will welcome a Teen Mom baby into the world this year. Maci Bookout revealed that she is pregnant and expecting a child in June and Gary Shirley’s girlfriend is also pregnant.
