Soulja Boy Served Eviction Papers

Posted: December 5, 2011

Soulja Boy looks like he could be facing eviction from his Atlanta apartment, after letting his rental debts slide drastically. Indeed, the 21-year-old rapper has already been served eviction papers, and still owes his landlord $4,725 in rent for November.

He’s been given a deadline of December 5 to pay up – that’s, er, today at the time of writing. Sources who know of his situation say he plans to vacate the building.

This is a rather grim end to a hardly wonderful 2011 for the rapper. Previously this year, he’s been arrested for marijuana and gun possession, was found to be lying about buying a private jet, got told he owed a significant amount in back taxes, and also provoked an outraged response from the U.S. military with a tasteless freestyle about the troops.

On the plus side, at some point in his life he has been able to afford to live in a $5,000-a-month apartment, so it’s not all that shabby eh?

Perhaps his next album, due next year, will see a change in fortunes.

  1. stupid idiot

  2. Ok lets take a long look at this ridiculous picture here, we have DeAndre Cortez Way AKA Soulja Boy who in 2010 was named in Forbes magazine as a so-called Hip Hop Cash King that earned $7 million that year. What kind of individual earns that kind of money and in 1 years time blew the entire amount and is currently facing tax issues with the Internal Revenue Service and was subsequently EVICTED from his rental apartment for owing a paltry sum of $4,000 in back rental payments? The Answer: A ignorant, self-absorbed, narcissistic, unlearned TYPICAL tattooed nigga (YES I SAID IT) with poor money management skills which I find absolutely appalling. Mr. Way your mindset and priorities in life absolutely offends every traditional and fundamental notion out there. I would suggest if your next album is successful which is doubtful, you should seek help for your issues because it 's now clear you are a poster child of what others strive not to be.
