Anna Kendrick Is Pissed At Jake Gyllenhaal, Find Out Why

Anna Kendrick is snagging headlines yet again and this time it’s for her comments about her End of Watch co-star Jake Gyllenhaal. The actress, who is set to co-star in Disney’s Into The Woods, was originally going to reunite with Jake Gyllenhaal for the film but then Gyllenhaal had to duck out of playing Rapunzel’s Prince Charming. In the film, Kendrick plays Cinderella, who is chased down by Chris Pine’s Prince Charming.

When Kendrick heard about the news, she was pretty pissed, and sent a tongue in cheek text to her friend Jake. She explained to ET about the offense. “I was so pissed at Jake, let me tell you. I texted him and said, ‘You’re abandoning me, and I’m never going to forgive you!’

Word has it that Gyllenhaal had no choice but to duck out of the production to focus on the noir thriller Nightcrawler, which is currently snagging awards buzz left and right. In the film Gyllenhaal plays Lou Bloom, a freelance videographer who chases down gruesome news breaks, specifically the crime beat. After Kendrick saw the trailer for the film, she quickly ‘forgave’ her co-star.

“Then I saw the trailer to Nightcrawler and texted him again and said, ‘Wow, you inspire me every day. Billy [Magnussen, Gyllenhaal’s replacement in the film] is really fantastic.”

We’re going to be seeing a lot of Anna Kendrick. In addition to Into The Woods, she’s also in the anticipated sequel to Pitch Perfect, Pitch Perfect 2.

Recently the Inquisitr reported on her very candid tweets. The last time Kendrick’s tweets made the news she was dissing Jamie Dornan’s lack of sex appeal in the Fifty Shades of Grey trailer. At the time she tweeted,”The 50 Shades of Grey dude looks just like Love Actually kid. I feel less turned on and more like … I should call child services …”

Although she didn’t bring up that specific tweet and the backlash she received from it, she did say why she loved Twitter in an interview to Out magazine. “I like Twitter because I’m incredibly long-winded, so being forced into brevity is a good thing for me.”

Here’s just a taste of her recent LOL-worthy tweets.
