Prince George: Never-Seen Before Photo Released Publicly Of Kate And William’s Son

Prince George won’t be joining his parents Prince William and Duchess Catherine on their U.S. tour in early December, but some news regarding the future King of England has surfaced. His grandfather, Prince Charles, recently did an interview on Google+ Hangout this week, and a never-seen before photo of George was seen in the background at Clarence House.

Hello magazine reports that while Charles was answering various questions from the public, presenter Alex Jones was sitting on a sofa situated in front of a table with a series of framed pictures behind her. The one cameras were able to snap showed one of the Prince of Wales holding Prince George after his christening last summer. George was wearing the replica of Queen Victoria’s honiton lace christening gown.

The photo is a bit on the blurry side, but cameras were only able to get so close during the occasion. The photo of Charles and George took place there at Clarence House after the christening happened at Chapel Royal in St James’s Palace. Charles and his wife, Camilla Parker-Bowles, hosted a lunch to celebrate the occasion at Clarence House. Only 24 guests attended the christening. Celebrity photographer Jason Bell took the picture.

Charles is proud of his grandson, and told guests at his 65th birthday party that “he really enjoyed being a grandfather and how he wished he had grandchildren earlier.” He reportedly said that he was “envious of his friends who already have many grandchildren.”

According to the report in Hello, Prince Charles stated in his Google+ chat that his grandson has inspired him to encourage youth, from the age of 10 on up to 20-year-olds, to involve themselves in volunteer work. Charles says Prince George is “what this is all about” and it’s motivating for him to “create a sustainable future.”

“I’ve had this extraordinary feeling, for years and years, ever since I can remember really, of wanting to heal and make things better. I feel more than anything else it’s my duty to worry about everybody and their lives in this country, to try to find a way of improving things if I possibly can.”

In other news for Prince George, his uncle, Prince Harry, just purchased him a $7 cuddly camel on a trip to the Middle East. People magazine reports that the royal family enjoys picking up little inexpensive gifts for each other when they travel abroad.
