Glad the aliens could make it!

This is obviously a bug flying by the camera lens. The speed with which it (the bug) crosses the lens is just what one would expect, depending on how close it was to the lens at the time. Please, lets get some sanity here so we can truly find out what's going on with the multitude of legitimate ufo sighting that have occurred over the years and reported by highly credible witnesses.

It's a bird, you fools! You can clearly see it flies in front of the monument.

As much as I'd like to think it's a UFO, let's consider something.

If it's not a bug or a bird, then that leaves some sort of higher level aircraft.

All of D.C., and maybe more outside it, was a no-fly zone for all non-military aircraft for the Inauguration. If it was truly a UFO, or some sort of aircraft that was not U.S. military based, there would have been fighter jets and helicopters all over the place within seconds… not to mention a complete halt to the ceremonies and Obama being whisked quickly away.

So that leaves only one final option, if it's not a natural explanation. I'm assuming there was no sonic boom, since that would have caused a stir, but there's no audio for the clip (thanks, YouTube censors). So, flying fast enough for a sonic boom + no sonic boom + U.S. Military-only airspace = black-level military aircraft that is radically different from anything humanity has ever created or flown.

Just saying.

First disc shaped pigeon or bug I've seen that does mach18. Nah, maybe it was some swamp gas or a nearby lighthouse. That'll be it. LOL

does ne1 see the clock hand below object just as it approaches monument.They are at 7 o'clock and as it passes the seconds hand moves to 6:45 with the object.Also the object appears from behind a grey rectangle and not from the edge of screen.That points me to thinking that maybe a fake.

Space has a lot of dimensions (more than 3+time). Probably, these humanoids live in parallel world.
Very interesting, but so-called 'aliens' look exactly as demons described by saint people from christian churches.
They have much more advanced technologies than people.

You know that this question “whether there are UFO's or not” will go down in history until the end of time.There will always be those who say no it's not & try to be “rational” about it.Then there are those who claim it is and are “superspicious” when something like this happens.Now as far as I know you can try convincing either side but depending on how far thier beliefe is you can't be guaranteed.I think it could be.But I'm also open to the possibility of it not being one either.And one last thing-Bush Sucks.666=his ID badge #.

All i have to say is that it flew in between the monument and the camera. that leads me to believe it wasn't anything out of this world. (As disapointing as that is to me.)

That is clearly some sort of bug. Looks to me like the camera was behind some sort of glass and bug just walks across.

Its not a bug. Here's why:

Lets take a look at lens – to – camera ratio's. For a that to have been a bug, it would have to be RIGHT on the camera. Or at least very close. However, if you look at the footage the “object” moves away from the camera, yet its size does not change drastically. This indicates that it is indeed not a bug. A bug would have disappeared much sooner as well as the fact that we would have seen it land on the camera or come close enough to decipher its shape.
Is it an alien? Possibly. But i'm lingering towards a fake or a camera quirk. More analysis would be nice. This is one of those hard to tell UFO sightings. Some, like the pheonix lights, are undeniable and i always show those to skeptics. This one, however, is a bit out there and does not prove much on either side.

if you follow the path of the UFO, I remind you of the ackronymn's meaning Unidentified Flying Object not space craft, it rises and falls like a bird in flight. I was there. They're were hundreds of birds. No flying bugs. No jets at visible altitudes. No Blimps or swamp gas. Just hundreds of birds and millions of cold people.

I heve “seen” this before in Oct 1996 and again in Oct 1997 in MN. The first time it look just like the video, very fast and silent. The second time it flew directly over my head 20 miles west of lake Superior; remote area. The sound was similar to a glider or a bird soaring. I believe it is our military…………….

Im a Digital analyst at a leading photography firm. This glitch in the pixel lattice indicates tell tale signs of semiconductor deformation. It can be caused by anything from a minute change in temperature down to poor camera operation.
I have first hand experience in dealing alien lifeforms and generally their locomotive vessels are triangular prisms with phalical engines. Furthermore alien lifeforms are classicly republicans and therefore would have little interest in a Democratic inaugaration.

Everybody knows that semi-conductive deformation is a myth and oxydeformationoxhyrdartionoffilation is prevalent through these findings. Through my 45 government endorsed years of technical research I have actually found that these unidentified life forms are in fact hyperbolic parabola shaped therefore condradicting your “triangular prism” theorem.

Im a dermatologist at Foundation heart hospital Ohio. I have undergone extensive research into the metaphysical properties of hydrohalobollic structures of alien phospholipid bilayers. Using emmission spectra samples taken from the original inaugaration footage i have been able to deduce that the alien lifeforms are in fact Martians from the delta quanta squadron on the city of Dodecahybathallon.

The plane theory doesn't hold water. Humans cannot withstand that amount of G force that would have to be associated with something that fast.

And oh yeah….absolutely quiet engines? No shock wave? We're not that advanced yet.

It is a reflection of something moving quickly off camera. The object/entity would be moving to the left and toward the left rear of the camera. A bug or bird close to the camera and only seen via reflection (beit window or lens would appear to be going very fast for a number of reasons, one being curvature of the lens). That no one other than “viewers” of the video have come forward as witnesses, it weighs heavily that it was an anomally unique to that camera, at that angle, at that time on that day.

NO DOUBT ABOUT IT. ITS A UFO. MARS ATTACKS!!!!

before everyone starts the usual ufo bashing do this . get the measurement of the washigton monument . that is a starting point . do some math to the length of the object and guess what folks its not a bird or a bug or a hunk of dust . amazing why so many want to bash something that can be proven with math!

before I say anythign I do infact beleive in aliens it makes perfect sense because if the human race can survive on one planet in the middle of a universe who knows whats out there etc. anyways i beleive the framerate from the camera itself was chopped down so the internet and youtube could display this video, so the bird may have seemed fast because of the slow frame rate the bird appears to move fast because at frame lets say 1 to frame 15 etc
