WWE News: Hulk Hogan Once Again Says He’s Training For WWE Comeback

In professional sport, athletes can’t last forever. They come to a point in their careers when it is time to hang it up forever. It’s never an easy thing to do, but the human body has a threshold of pain that can only withstand so much. There are lucky athletes who are able to last longer than the average person. In WWE, some wrestlers last four years and others last 25. Only a few can say they wrestled from the time they were teenagers, to the time they hit the 50-year old mark.

Hulk Hogan is in the news again in that same conversation. Hogan didn’t wrestle when he was a teenager, but he’s been wrestling for over 30 years. By the way, he was in the WWF before he went to New Japan Pro Wrestling in 1980, just a fun fact.

The point remains valid, as the Hulkster is still around and doesn’t want to go away. After starting mischief with Stone Cold Steve Austin, Hogan continues to be loud when the topic of a return match is discussed. There is a sure-fire possibility that it will indeed happen. In fact, Hogan once again talked about a return to the squared circle in the WWE at a recent WrestleMania 31 party.

“WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan continues to tease that he’s gearing up for a match at WrestleMania 31 on March 29, 2015. WWE hosted a WrestleMania 31 kickoff event on Friday night at Levi’s Stadium in California, with Hogan taking questions from the fans in attendance.

“When asked by a fan if we’ll see Hogan wrestle again, he jumped right into hype mode, stating that he’s training like he’s got a WWE title match coming up, brother.”

Apparently, Hogan still believes that he will wrestle in the WWE once again. Personally, it will be nice to see Hogan in a wrestling ring once again, but is he at the physical level to wrestle a match? Who would want to see an old man wrestle a full-length match at WrestleMania? It will be all for nostalgia, which is fine, but it isn’t enough for me to want to watch Hogan.

This isn’t even the first time Hogan expressed his interest for a return in the last week. The former WWE champion mentioned a comeback match under a week ago. Hogan is doing all he can to sell the WWE officials on another match.

Does anyone want to see Hulk Hogan return for a match? If so, who will it be against? The Rock is most likely out, Stone Cold isn’t interested, John Cena shouldn’t be working with Hogan, and nobody else would make sense. Maybe it is better for Hogan to rest easy and continue to be an ambassador for the WWE; let his worldwide popularity do the rest for him.
