Former ‘RHOA’ Star Lisa Wu Continues Friendship With Co-Star

Lisa Wu was one of the original housewives on The Real Housewives of Atlanta when the show first started a couple of years ago. The only original housewife who remains on the show is NeNe Leakes, but Kim Zolciak was also one of the first wives. Wu was on the first two seasons of the show before being replaced.

But Lisa Wu continued to work hard. Since leaving The Real Housewives of Atlanta behind, Lisa got divorced from her husband, Ed Hartwell, who was trying to make his return to the NFL. She has put her baby plans on hold and she is working on returning to television.

According to a new Bravo report, former The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Lisa Wu is returning to television as she has signed on to film a new show called Hollywood Divas. The show is about the lives and struggles of five actresses in Hollywood. And Lisa feels that this show is perfect for her.

Lisa Wu will be returning to the small screen next week when Hollywood Divas starts airing. It is unknown whether Wu actually stays in touch with some of the wives who were only on the Bravo show during the first season. It is uncertain whether Wu has been watching Kim’s spin-off show, Don’t Be Tardy.

Since leaving The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Lisa Wu has continued to keep a friendship intact – with Kandi Burruss. Even though the two ladies were not necessarily close on the show, Wu has kept in contact with Kandi. The two try to hang out whenever possible, but Lisa hasn’t made any guest appearances on The Real Housewives of Atlanta as Jeana Keough has done on The Real Housewives of Orange County, for example.

“She’s always doing her thing,” Lisa says of Kandi and her husband Todd, adding, “I’m proud of both of them.”

According to The Inquisitr, Kandi Burruss has spoken out about the rumored pregnancy, saying that they have had no success in getting pregnant. Since Lisa and Burruss still talk, it is possible that the women have talked about the singer’s baby plans. It is also possible that she has offered Wu some acting advice since Lisa is supposedly living in Hollywood.

Lisa got a great platform from being on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, but it sounds like she is pursuing her acting career over her clothing line. What do you think of Lisa Wu being friends with Kandi after leaving the show behind?
