Nina Dobrev Has One Of The Sexiest ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Videos Ever Made!
Nina Dobrev is one of the newest stars to take on the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, an internet trend that aims to bring awareness to Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) or Lou Gehrig’s Disease. The Vampire Diaries star shared on her Instagram account how she did the ice bucket challenge in the best way possible – standing sun-kissed on a boat and donning a hot black bikini!

Dobrev’s video didn’t appear too exceptional at first. It began with the actress standing on a boat nominating a few of her friends – Riawna Capri, Julianna and Dereck Hough, and Kara Cavallari – to do the stunt within 24 hours. But here is where it got exciting. In the second vid, Nina stripped down to her bikinis and had a guy (a lucky dude named Tommy) pour a whole bucket of icy water on her. For comedic effect, the vid was slowed down, showing huge cubes of ice slowly bounce off Dobrev’s body.
After getting drenched with ice, cold water, Nina Dobrev proceeds to jump off the boat into the magnificent beach. Way to go, Nina!
On Instagram, she wrote:
“Challenge accepted. If you’re gonna go in, you gotta go ALLLLLLL in. #ALS,”
According to the HuffPost, Capri was the first one to respond to Nina Dobrev’s challenge. It hasn’t been confirmed if the others obliged.
Nina isn’t the very first celeb to partake this internet sensation. Chris Pratt, Robert Downey, Jr and other A-listers have signed in to support care for ALS patients. President Barack Obama, who was nominated by Justin Bieber, opted out of the ice challenge, choosing to donate money to the cause instead.
In other news, Nina Dobrev left her fans roaring in laughter after she orchestrated a self-deprecating skit for the 2014 Teen’s Choice Awards. Nina took in Expendables 3 star Kellan Lutz for the skit, which mocked the incessant “five boyfriends” rumors that have been plaguing the actress for the past few weeks.
While the two presented the Choice Movie Actress: Action/Adventure award, Kellan was observed distancing himself from Dobrev. The latter, who acted confused about Lutz’s behavior, asked him why he’s edging away from her.
The actor responded:
“Look, look, Nina. I hear you’re dating five guys right now. And even though I’m in Expendable, and I can take four guys at once…five, that’s pushing.”
Nina Dobrev plays Josie on the comedy flick Let’s Be Cops, which opened on theaters last week.
