Jennifer Huston Body: Mother Of Two’s Body Found 12 Days After She Went Missing

Jennifer Huston’s body has been found, 12 days after she was reported missing. According to People Magazine, the mother of two was found dead near her vehicle on a rural road in Yarmhill Country in Oregon. Officials have not yet released a cause of death, but they say that foul play is not suspected. Huston’s car had not been in an accident, which is also important to note, because it means that she died from some other cause that didn’t involve body trauma.

The 38-year-old went missing on July 24 when she ran to the store for a couple of small items including Gatorade, trail mix, and sleeping pills. Huston did not return home that evening, but it is unclear if she stayed out on purpose or if something else went wrong. If she took any of those sleeping pills, for instance, that should show up on a toxicology report — but that will take an additional four to six weeks for results.

Jennifer Huston’s body was located outside of her vehicle, which could also be key in the investigation, but the condition of her body was not revealed. According to KATU, Newberg police Capt. Jeff Kosmicki hinted that the police are almost ready to wrap up their investigation, which means they must have been able to connect the dots by now.

“We’re keeping an open mind, but I think we’ve got a pretty good idea of what happened.”

Huston’s body was found in a very thickly-settled area that was covered with trees. It sounds like this is why it took so long for the body to be found.

“It’s a pretty thick canopy of trees so it would be pretty difficult to see from the air. The entire county was checked as best as you can. It was flown, the rivers were checked. We asked our partners to drive down roads that aren’t normally driven down.”

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Huston’s family all helped try to find her. Many wore T-shirts with her picture on it, posted flyers, and got the word out the best they could. Unfortunately it sounds like Jennifer didn’t want to come home… or something permitted her from getting home. Those close to the family are hoping that they are all able to find closure soon.

Now that Jennifer Huston’s body has been found, her husband Kallen, and their two sons, ages 6 and 2, will start the grieving process.
