Scott, Kourtney Alcohol Issues: Is Disick Giving Up Drinking For Kardashian?
Are recent reports regarding trouble at home between Scott and Kourtney alcohol-related? There has been a lot of buzz lately that Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian are having relationship troubles, even as she is pregnant with their third child. However, now it seems that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians duo may be heading down a stronger path as Scott sets aside the booze.
According to TMZ, Scott and Kourtney’s alcohol fights were making things pretty ugly at home. Supposedly Disick had been out of control with his boozing, and when he would return home after a wild evening out, Kardashian would go ballistic over it. Now, it seems, he is finally ready to change his ways a bit for the sake of his family. As KUWTK fans know, the couple is now expecting a new baby to join older siblings Mason and Penelope, so it is not a good time for the home life to be contentious.
Sources for TMZ indicate that Kourtney Kardashian’s issues are not related to long-time boyfriend Scott Disick hitting the clubs. The plain truth about it is that he gets paid quite a bit for those appearances. The issue, supposedly, is how wasted he has gotten in the past when he is doing those appearances.
Now, it seems, Scott is making an effort to avoid the booze when doing the appearances. A recent gig at Harrah’s Pool After Dark apparently went well, as he did not drink a drop of alcohol. However, it seems that he did rake in about $50,000 for showing up.
As the Mail Online notes, recent reports claimed that Kourtney threw Scott out of their Southampton rental due to his wild partying ways. There have been a lot of rumors regarding the antics of Scott, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian this summer as they hang out in the Hamptons filming their new reality TV show, aptly titled Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons. Though it may all make for entertaining television, behind the scenes surely Kourtney and Scott would like for things to be a bit more harmonious for the sake of their kids.
Though Scott has shown plenty of questionable behavior over the years, it does appear that he might be taking things seriously this summer when it comes to straightening up and making things work with Kourtney. He has been posting quite a few gushy photos and sentiments regarding Kardashian on Instagram, and Keeping Up with the Kardashians fans will be curious to see if he can stick with it.
