[Video] Military Cover of ‘Rolling in the Deep’ Goes Viral

Posted: August 13, 2011

It seems the formula for viral video success this summer includes stationed servicemen and women and music, dancing or celebrity date proposals.

One such YouTube clip gaining steam right now is a soulful cover from fatigues-clad soldiers stationed somewhere in the Middle East. The video attracted a following after Carson Daly tweeted it to his nearly 98,000 followers, and the woman featured in the clip soon began tweeting back.

Along with the clip, this information was offered by the person who uploaded it:

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Angie Johnson and Sidewinder perform a cover of Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep.” Sidewinder is part of the 571st Air Force Band, 131st Bomb Wing, Air National Guard. They are deployed as the U.S. Air Forces Central Command Band…

By the looks of the Twitter convo between Sgt. Johnson and Daly, she may have a gig upcoming on NBC’s The Voice. Below, the clip… can you believe her amazing voice?
