Kourtney Kardashian, Scott Disick Breakup? Rumors Fake, Part Of ‘Reality’ Script, Report Says
Kourtney Kardashian and longtime boyfriend — and dad of their two children — Scott Disick look like they’re headed for a breakup. That’s what the rumor mill has been saying since Disick was seen, and photographed, partying hard at his 31st-birthday bash in New York’s ultra-wealthy resort community, The Hamptons.
And while Scott was getting hammered alongside such pals as Leonardo DiCaprio — who was incognito in full beard and hat pulled over his eyes — Kevin Connolly of Entourage, and most incriminating, a leggy, model-hot beauty by his side, family gal Kourtney was back in Los Angeles at another birthday party. Namely, the big oh-one for her beloved niece, North.
The rocky scenario even had Kourtney desperately attempting to reach her beau by phone, only to have her calls sent to voicemail. The incident wounded Kourtney deeply, especially because she is pregnant with the couple’s third child while Scott slipped back to the hard-drinking ways of his younger days.
By the way, consider this a spoiler alert. Stop reading now if you don’t want Kardashian spoilers.
While it looks like the romance could be ready to explode, and celeb-stalking sites such as TMZ breathlessly reported on Disick’s bro-ish behavior and the 35-year-old Kourtney’s deep hurt at his thoughtlessness — it was even reported that Kourtney had tossed Scott out of the couple’s multimillion dollar Hamptons mansion — there’s good news for Kardashian-watchers.
The whole thing is a big fake.
According to sources speaking to The New York Daily News, the entire “party”episode was nothing but what in professional wrestling they’d call a “work.” In other words, a scripted storyline designed to make good television.
Specifically, the Daily News reports, the phony breakup scenario was generated for a spinoff of Keeping Up With Kardashians set to air on the E! cable network in the fall season. The series will be titled, Kourtney and Kim Take The Hamptons, and the Kourtney-Scott storyline is a subplot designed for that show.
The Scott Disick birthday party, which actually took place a few weeks after his actual birthday of May 26, was held at the 10ak Nightclub, a mega-trendy Southampton hot-spot in one of the wealthiest areas of Long Island, about two hours east of New York City.
The Kourtney and Kim producers had actually obtained permits to film at the hopping club months in advance.
“Scott’s excited to have another baby,” an inside source blabbed to the Daily News. “Kourtney and him couldn’t be better. It’s all bulls***.”
Oh yeah, the model-hot sexpot seen flirting with Scott? That’s actually Kourtney’s own BFF Allie Rizzo, who is dating the owner of the very club where the supposed debauch took place.
While it may not come as a total shock that “reality” TV is no more “real” than pro wrestling, at least fans of Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick can now relax and enjoy the show, secure in the knowledge that all is well on the home front. That’s entertainment!
