Adam Levine Introduces Kmart Clothing Line For Women

When singer Adam Levine decided to get his feet wet in the fashion industry he struck a deal with Kmart. Now he is introducing his women’s collection.

If you are thinking, what does a singer know about women’s fashion? We are talking Adam Levine here. They guy loves the ladies, by his own admission and is engaged to supermodel Behati Prinsloo.

The Maroon 5 frontman, who is also a judge in the musical reality TV competition The Voice has some advice for women thinking about buying the Adam Levine collection items:

“Don’t overthink things. I always go back to the idea that style should be effortless. I think that’s the most important tip.”

The pieces of the Adam Levine Kmart collection range in price from $12.99 to $29.99 for clothing items and $6.99 to $29.99 for accessories is expected to be well received by women, after all, the 35-year-old was crowned Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine.

Speaking of his new collection, Levine said in a statement:

“The best thing about designing a women’s collection is that I was able to create pieces that I would like to see a woman wear. It’s been a really cool process working (…) to replicate that simple yet sophisticated style for a woman.”

The Adam Levine collection features “floral adorned kimono tops, colorful twill shorts, crocheted bralettes and an assortment of denim.”

Women shopping for Adam’s clothes also can find “unique pieces, including a demure lacy sheer blouse and a perfect summer Aztec maxi dress” the official statement read.

The Adam Levine women’s collection, which joins his Kmart men’s collection, will be available at 500 select Kmart locations across the US and on Shopyourway.com.

Adam will appear do a Style Chat for the website, where he will answer questions about his personal style, which is inspired by none other than Batman, “This is going to sound silly, but my style icon is Batman, especially the Christian Bale Batman. He’s very suave.” Levine confesses.
