Ariana Grande Collaborates With Japanese Beatboxer Hikakin

Ariana Grande landed in Japan a little over a week ago, and she seems to be having a very productive stay. In a new video, Ariana and Japanese beatboxer, Hikakin, got together and performed Ariana’s hit song “Baby I” as a part of Hikakin’s YouTube program.

According to the Latin Post, the collaboration was apart of Ariana’s appearance on Hikain’s YouTube program, HikakinTV. The program was posted to Hikakin’s YouTube channel last Friday, but the video of their performance is making Ariana Grande fans swoon.

Grande donned a set of Hello Kitty ears while Hikakin followed suit, donning his own set of kitty ears for their little performance. But what has everyone going crazy is how natural the two sound together. Hikakin laid down beats that seemed to fit perfectly alongside Ariana’s lyrics. Just check out their performance for yourself!

A recent report by The Inquisitr stated that the “Baby I” singer is clearly excited about her upcoming album, and is keeping her fans excited by teasing them with Twitter posts on how great things are going in the studio.

Of course, what Ariana fan wouldn’t be excited by a tweet like that. Fans followed up her tweet with comments such as:

Ariana Grande has said that she is working alongside several producers who helped her make her debut album, Yours Truly, the chart topper that it is today. Ariana’s manager, Scooter Braun, recently announced via Twitter that the album is selling very well in Japan. “Wow!! @ArianaGrande album is #1 in Japan and ties the record for highest charting debut album by an international female artist ever!”

Even though Ariana’s debut album is still doing well, the singer has said she’s looking to do something a little different her second time around:

“Well, I’ve been working a lot with the producers that I did my last album with Harmony Samuels and Babyface and The Rascals and Tommy Brown. But, I’ve also been working with new producers like Max Martin; he’s amazing. I love working with him. He’s like a mathematician. He knows music like math. It just makes sense to him. And, Savan [Kotecha] and Benny Blanco and Ryan Tedder. I’m so excited. I’m very excited too.”

Well, with no updated information as to when fans can expect some new music from Ariana Grande, fans will just have to put Ariana’s collaboration with beatboxer Hikakin on repeat! What do you think of Ariana Grande’s collaboration with the Japanese beatboxer?
