There have been rumors about UFC star Ronda Rousey joining the WWE for a few years now, and Conor McGregor’s name started popping up when he cut some UFC promos insulting WWE superstars. In a recent interview with Good Morning Britain , Triple H answered some questions concerning both of those UFC superstars’ chances of joining the WWE.

Conor McGregor

The entire situation with Conor McGregor came up when he was doing interviews before his fight with Nate Diaz. McGregor made a lot of unflattering comments about WWE superstars, saying that outside of guys like Dwyane “The Rock” Johnson and Triple H, he could beat anyone in the WWE locker room, calling them some derogatory names in the process.

A lot of WWE superstars answered the comments, with some insulting Conor McGregor back and others, like “Nature Boy” Ric Flair, claiming that he was just copying the promo styles of WWE superstars. A few, like Samoa Joe, pointed out that Conor McGregor was just promoting himself and was insulting the WWE to get more people to listen to him.

Triple H said in his interview that he has no problem with Conor McGregor. Humorously, Triple H said he has no problem because McGregor called him a “Don,” which was a compliment. However, he also pointed out that what Conor said about other superstars in the locker room will mean if he does join the WWE, it “won’t be an easy go.”

Ronda Rousey

While Conor McGregor was nothing but insulting when it came to the WWE, Ronda Rousey has always been nothing but respectful when it comes to the company and professional wrestling in general. Her nickname “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey is a homage to Rowdy Roddy Piper. She nicknamed a group of her and three other MMA stars as the Four Horsewomen.

At WrestleMania in 2016, Ronda Rousey appeared in the ring during a promo between Dwyane “The Rock” Johnson and the power couple of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Rousey hip-tossed Triple H and then locked McMahon in an armbar, seemingly setting up a future match.

Triple H admitted that Ronda Rousey is a huge fan of the WWE, and he believes that she is interested in an opportunity to work with the company. It is also exciting to know that Triple H said that he is interested in offering her that opportunity, saying they have some talking to do.
