WWE fans aren’t too keen on this year’s revival of Tough Enough. Even WWE legends are tuning out of the reality show. Mick Foley voiced his displeasure and eventual boycott of the program. He’s one of the many wrestling fans who have tuned out. Despite its failures and successes, a major angle hit its peak during last night’s episode.

While the footage of their training is taped, the actual broadcast is live. John Cena made his first appearance on WWE television since his broken nose last night. Beyond popular belief, it’s hard to tell if his nose was actually broken. After talking to the Tough Enough competitors, he unveiled breaking news to the WWE Universe.

Seth Rollins vs. John Cena is now official for WWE SummerSlam. WWE.com put out this report moments after the announcement was made.

“The stakes have never been as great as they will be at SummerSlam when WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins faces United States Champion John Cena . The winner takes all, and for the first time in WWE history, one Superstar will control both titles.

Amid speculation that the Cenation leader would not be cleared to compete at The Biggest Party of the Summer, Cena accepted (with Daniel Bryan ‘s support) Rollins’ challenge during an appearance on the Aug. 11 edition of WWE Tough Enough .”

Even if Cena wouldn’t have been ready for SummerSlam, the WWE had a backup plan in place. In an earlier report by the Inquisitr, Sheamus and Randy Orton were tentatively scheduled to be in a triple threat match at SummerSlam with Seth Rollins for the WWE championship. Since Cena is coming back, it appears that Sheamus and Orton will go forward with their singles match.

WWE programming is lucky that Cena is able to come back at a swift pace. Even though it’s not the main event, WWE fans want to see Rollins and the United States champion go one-on-one. Despite the probability that Rollins will retain his belt, Cena cannot be counted out.

What Culture is speculating that Cena’s new t-shirt is a clue that he will win another WWE championship at WWE SummerSlam . On the back of the shirt, it has the words “15x Champion” on it. He is a 15-time WWE champion, but that doesn’t insinuate he will tie Ric Flair’s record of 16 at the pay-per-view. WWE is going all-in with Seth Rollins, so don’t be surprised if he holds onto that belt just a little bit longer.
