Police in Arizona are looking for a killer. Thirty-one-year-old Allison Feldman was discovered dead in her Scottsdale home last week, and even though authorities don’t know who did it, they’re assuring members of the community that her murder was an “isolated incident.” Arizona Central reports that Scottsdale Police do not believe the community is in any danger. If they believe this murder was merely a singular event, then who could have done it?
Even though the police in the area claim that nobody has reason to be alarmed, members of the community have already met to discuss their concerns. The community meeting took place at Pima Elementary School on Tuesday evening, which drew an audience of more than 200 people — a clear indication that the community is rattled by this homicide. Angela Esposito was one of the many parents who were there to share their concerns.
“Is it someone who we should be concerned for? Or is it someone she knew?”
Police officers were also in attendance at the community meeting, including McKellips Disctrict Police Commander Aaron Minor. He let the community know that there were no signs of forced entry in the home of Allison Feldman, which is usually an indicator that the killer was someone she’d either known and trusted or had been acquainted with in some way. Minor has also stated that the homicide doesn’t appear to be related to recent burglaries. These latest updates differ from days prior when officials refused to address whether or not there had been a break-in at the slain woman’s residence.
The Daily Mail reports that the 31-year-old was found dead by her boyfriend , who has not yet been identified in any reports, but is identified via her public Facebook profile. No police comments indicate whether or not he is a suspect or person of interest in the investigation. Furthermore, authorities are not releasing a cause of death yet in this case because they don’t want to jeopardize the case by alerting any suspects. In other words, her cause of death is being utilized as an investigative tool to get to the bottom of her case. How she died could easily determine whether a stranger killed her or someone with whom she was intimate.
