An art installation displayed in front of the Capitol is getting quite the reaction out of the Trump administration and his supporters. The artwork, whose creator remains a mystery, is being called out by the White House’s deputy press secretary.
Donald Trump himself is the muse of the art piece in question. The installation is essentially a golden television that is placed on a concrete pedestal. A bald eagle sits on top of the television.
There’s a golden TV across the street from the Capitol.
President Trump and Jeffrey Epstein are on it 😂 🤦🏼♀️ pic.twitter.com/gNsaRwPShS

It isn’t the TV itself that has people talking, but the clip that is playing on it. The 15-second video shows the President dancing while busting his signature moves. Another scene in the clip shows him partying with the infamous Jeffrey Epstein.
A plaque on the installation reads, “In the United States of America, you have the freedom to display your so-called art, no matter how ugly it is – The Trump White House, June 2025.”
The quote is something the President himself said when a strange art piece first appeared on the same spot earlier this month in D.C. The previous art installation featured a golden hand showing a thumbs-up while sitting atop the head of the Statue of Liberty.
The art piece named ‘Dictator Approved’ featured a plaque with the names of Kim Jong Un, Vladimir Putin, Viktor Orbán, and Jair Bolsonaro displayed on it. The newer sculpture has managed to evoke a reaction out of the Trump administration yet again.
“Wow, these liberal activists masquerading as ‘artists’ are dumber than I thought!” Abigail Jackson told The Washington Post. She went on to note how she has successfully “tricked” the artist into replacing the “ugly sculpture” with Trump’s “legendary dance moves.”
Jackson claimed that the new art installation will “bring joy and inspiration to all tourists traversing our National Mall.” She concluded, “Thank you for your attention to this matter!” She later joked about how maybe the artist will put her statement on another sculpture.
Netizens, on the other hand, were more than amused by the art installation. “A gold TV playing a loop of the dictator dancing has appeared on the National Mall,” one noted while posting a video of it.

“He’ll blame Canada and Mexico or maybe Iran for the embellishment. If nothing works, then the 4th option is ‘lunatic Commies,’” another added.
While others did not seem too keen about it. “When will it be taken down and destroyed?” one wrote. Another called it “crazy.” While a third added, “It is ugly art, inspired by an ugly person.”
