The Waco biker brawl involved the Bandidos motorcycle club, a group some law enforcement experts have deemed the “most feared” biker gang in the United States. As previously reported by the Inquisitr , the biker shootout left 9 dead, at least 18 injured, and resulted in almost 200 arrests.

Bandidos slogans reportedly include a motto which says, “”We are the people our parents warned us about.” According to the Department of Justice, the Bandidos biker gang which was involved in the Wac shootout “constitute a growing criminal threat to the U.S. law enforcement authorities.”

The Bandidos MC (motorcycle club) was reportedly formed in Texas in 1966 and is now believed to have chapters around the globe. The Department of Justice stated that the Bandidos biker gang consists of 93 chapters and approximately 900 members. The Bandidos MC is also believed to be one of the two largest “outlaw motorcycle” gangs currently operating in the United States – the other being the Hell’s Angels.

“The Bandidos see the Hell’s Angels as too nice,” Canadian investigative journalist and author of two books about motorcycle clubs, Julian Sher, said. “They relish their brutal pedigree. Among the bad guys, they are the baddest of the bad. You don’t join an outlaw motorcycle gang because you like riding a bike. You join knowing their reputation for violence. The Bandidos go one step further. They view the Hell’s Angels as too corporate, so you are talking about extreme people who join.”

The Bandidos MC, which was reportedly involved in the Waco biker gang shootout outside the Twin Peaks restaurant, is believed to have chapters in 13 countries.

In 2014, six Bandidos MC members were convicted after they reportedly stuffed the “bullet-ridden bodies” of eight fellow biker gang members into cars at an abandoned farm in Ontario. The case was reportedly one of the largest “mass slayings” in the history of the province.

A Bandidos MC Swedish Chapter website reportedly states that the motorcycle club was formed in San Leon, Texas by Vietnam War veteran Donald Chambers.
