Vin Diesel may seem like a scarily tough guy on films such as Fast & Furious , but the actor showed his softy side in celebrating the birth of his new baby. The 47-year-old joyfully welcomed his third child with Paloma Jimenez on Facebook, reported People .
And to reveal how he felt about the infant, Vin Disel quoted one of Louis Armstrong’s most famous songs, “What A Wonderful World.” He also shared a photo of new mom and baby.
“I hear babies crying/ I watch them grow/ They’ll learn much more/ Than I’ll ever know/ And I think to myself /What a wonderful world.”
The couple has not yet revealed the gender or name of the new arrival. Their other children include Vincent Sinclair, who is 4-and-a-half years old, and Hania Riley, who is 6-and-a-half years old. They are not married.
However, there are many celebrity precedents for having children before the wedding. Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson , for example, had two babies before they found time to get married, as the Inquisitr reported.
In addition, Snooki waited to get married until she had her second baby. She then vowed to shed her post-pregnancy pounds before her own walk down the aisle.
However, although Vin Diesel and Paloma are not married, the two have been faithful to each other and kept their lives private , according to MSN .
In recent months, however, Vin Diesel increasingly has turned to Facebook to share his feelings and both personal and professional lives. He particularly attracted attention for his decision to pay tribute to Paul Walker after his passing.
“[Paul] was an important part of my transition into fatherhood,” said the action star in his tribute to his friend and co-star.
After expressing how much he misses Walker, Vin also used Facebook to express the link between the Furious films and the late actor.
“Our objective was to make Paul Walker proud… After watching Furious 7, and his timeless performance… we realized that it was Paul, who has made all of us… so very proud.”
Aware of his fondness for Walker, fans are now urging Vin Diesel to call the baby Paul, reported Gawker .
The original suggestion didn’t offer an idea for a baby name if it’s a girl.
“Congratulations, it would be great if u named him Paul,” read the comment from Wendy Smith.
That comment immediately earned numerous “Likes,” although Vin Diesel has not yet responded.
