Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Barney aren’t filming The Real Housewives of Orange County quite yet, but already the drama between them appears to be going strong. Following an interview in which she slammed Barney for being a bad friend, Gunvalson is speaking out again, claiming she wishes her co-star the “best.”

“Although our relationship has been strained from doing this show, real life still continues and I wish the best for Tamra and her family as I hope she does for me and the people I care about,” Gunvalson told Radar Online on November 25.

As the Inquisitr reported, Vicki Gunvalson spoke to Us Weekly on Monday, discussing her struggles with Brooks Ayers’ cancer diagnosis and revealing which of her Real Housewives of Orange County co-stars have been supportive.

“Shannon [Beador] was absolutely there for us. Heather [Dubrow] also reached out. And [Heather’s husband] Terry, Lizzie [Rovsek],” Gunvalson told the magazine . One person who failed to reach out was Barney, who has had an on-again, off-again friendship with Gunvalson for years. “Never heard from Tamra,” Gunvalson revealed. “Interesting. You know what, you really find out who your true friends are when things like this happen.”

Also in the interview, Vicki Gunvalson gave an update on her strained relationship with daughter Briana Culberson. As fans have seen on the show, Culberson isn’t supportive of Gunvalson’s relationship with Ayers. “Briana and I, we’ve kind of agreed to disagree on this one subject,” she said, noting she hadn’t told her daughter that Ayers moved into her Orange County home.

“She doesn’t know Brooks is in, but I guess she will now!”

Ayers said he was “ready and willing” to make peace with Culberson, “given the appropriate opportunity to apologize to her, face to face” for his mistakes. “She deserves that,” he admitted.

According to the Inquisitr , a friend of Barney’s spoke to Radar Online shortly after Gunvalson’s interview hit the web, denying Barney hadn’t reached out .

“[Tamra Barney] has texted Vicki numerous times,” a source told the site on Monday. “Vicki is doing this for two reasons. One is that she still has animosity from last season,” and the second reason was because Gunvalson “is desperately seeking a storyline for this upcoming season.”

“By planting the seeds that Tamra has not reached out, [Vicki Gunvalson] can already go into filming ready to go with a controversial storyline that will be sure to bring the drama.”
