Vampire Diaries Season 4 is now fully underway and spoilers for the rest of the season are already pouring in. New character, Connor Jordan (Todd Williams) has not yet revealed much of himself to the Mystic Falls gang. Although he might be considered a prime foe for evil vampire fan favorite, Klaus, (Joseph Morgan) do not expect to see the new guy rushing into combat against the “original” anytime soon.
Klaus and the new vampire hunter are not going to become friends, and tension is expected to build between the two over the course of the season. The original vamp is quickly running out of hybrids, Connor has already shot Tyler twice.
The new werewolf in town, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) will not only be tangling with Klaus, but may be trading a few barbs with Caroline (Candice Accola) as well, according to Wet Paint Vampire Diaries spoilers. Tyler’s (Michael Trevino) fuzzy new pal may just be a platonic playmate for now, but forgetting to tell Caroline about her existence could provide some other-world love triangle drama in upcoming episodes, Gather notes.
Klaus is expected to make the most of any strife between Tyler and Caroline, he is apparently still struggling with his emotions for the sweet blonde vamp. Even though Carolina might be grateful that Hayley helped Tyler break his sire bond to Klaus, that does not mean she is willing to let the new girl in town take top billing in her favorite werewolf’s heart.
Phoebe Tonkin had this to say about her character’s role on Vampire Diaries :
“She kind of speaks before she thinks, especially to people that are probably a little bit dangerous. I think her mouth could get her into trouble … possibly!”
Fans hoping for a showdown between original vamp Rebekah (Claire Holt) and Hayley, will have to wait a bit for a Barbie vampire versus furry hottie battle. Thanks to Klaus’ legendary temper, Rebekah is hitting the road, for a little while. The argument between Klaus and Rebekah during the Season 4 premiere episode strained their relationship, and possible little sister’s loyalty too.
